I’ve been tattooed at a few different shops around Charlotte, and this place is easily my favorite. Jeff has tattooed me a couple of times now, and I keep coming back for a reason: his pricing is fair, he’s not afraid to jump in and freehand ideas, and he works fast without sacrificing quality. The tattoos have held up great over time (even when I haven’t been perfect about aftercare), and most importantly, I’ve had zero scarring from any of the work he’s done.

Traveled from Charleston during a inbound snow storm in order to get tattooed by Brent. He does great work, in and out and super reasonable costs. Couldn't recommend anyone but these guys at Hold True.

Got tattooed here for the first time here shortly after they opened 5 years ago and haven’t gone to another shop since. I’ve spent countless hours being tattooed at this shop and have never had a complaint or a problem. All of the artists are super easy to talk to and very educated and passionate about their work. If you do get a chance to get tattooed by Jeff Davis then jump on it he’s immensely talented. Hold True Forever!
